Laboratory Technician Traineeship – Full-Time, 38 Hours per WeekAre you a hands-on individual with a keen eye for detail and an interest in mechanics? Kickstart your career in laboratory technology with this exciting Laboratory Technician Traineeship! This is a full-time role where you will work, study, and gain a Certificate III in Laboratory Skills over a 24-month period, while gaining invaluable industry experience at a reputable government organisation. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Laboratory Technician Trainee, you will work in the quality control laboratory, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the companies manufactured products . Your key responsibilities will include:
ATTRIBUTES WE ARE LOOKING FOR Mechanically-minded: Mechanical aptitude and a keen interest in engineering or manufacturing High mathematical ability: able to perform accurate measurements and precise calculations. High literacy skills: Have great communication around the board, in verbal and written communication. Strong attention to detail: Be able to identity insufficiencies with products to maintain high standards. Ability to work Independently as well as within a team efficiently, all whilst maintaining high levels of communication. Ability to maintain professionalism and quality standards under pressure.
TRAINEESHIP INFORMATION This traineeship is a 24-month duration. During this traineeship you will be working full-time (38 hours per week), Monday to Friday learning all the skills of the industry within real working environment. Within the 38 hours working week, you will be allocated 3-hours paid study time to work toward completing your Certificate III in Laboratory Skills.
