Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) are seeking applications from individuals who are keen to undertake a full time 3 year apprenticeship with our host employer who is a proudly South Australian family owned and operated business for over 30 years.

About the role

We have an exciting new role for an entry level sales apprentice to join our Sales team in Wingfield. You will be trained in all aspects of the Earth moving and Material handling operations with a view to a successful sales career in the industry. You will represent a family owned proudly South Australian Earthmoving and Material Handling equipment company, working in an environment alongside a supportive team. 

You will complete an apprenticeship in Automotive sales (Certificate III in Automotive Sales) over a three-year period  This qualification is designed to prepare new employees with a focus on general sales and marketing functions in an automotive retail, service, or repair business. 

This apprenticeship combines support from experienced mentors and managers alongside factory training from manufacturers. 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and follow up.
  • Sourcing new opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, as well as cold and warm lead outbound calling.
  • Preparing customer quotes and provide technical information.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong, lasting relationships with new and existing customers to increase overall customer value.
  • Gain, maintain and deliver a high level of product knowledge.
  • Data input into the CRM
