What you’ll be doing…
You will complete a Certificate III Automotive Sales (Parts Interpreting) over 36 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with the Host Employer.

Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:

• Identify the make, models of automotive equipment
• Ensure parts are appropriately put away and warehoused  
• Talk to customers and recommend appropriate parts
• Check databases to identify and locate parts
• Order parts from warehouse and external suppliers
• Prepare invoices for the sale of stock.
• Process cash and credit transactions
• Collect, pack and dispatch or delivery ordered parts
• Participate in stocktaking and update computer data
• Set up merchandise displays

Eligibility 

• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or a permanent Australian resident 

• Have a current South Australia Driver's licence
